SHINNSTON — Christopher Lynn Silski, 29, of Lumberport, passed away suddenly on Friday, August 9, 2013, at his residence.
He was born June 19, 1984, in Clarksburg, the son of Sheila Davisson of Clarksburg and Timothy Silski and wife Susan of Jane Lew.
In addition to his parents, Christopher is survived by his wife, Sarah Harrison Silski of Lumberport; brothers, Derek Leon Silski of Clarksburg and Brandon Davisson of Clarksburg; grandmother JoAnn Riley of Alabama; aunts and uncles, Sharon Strait of Shinnston, Lynn Richards of Alabama, Willard and Mary West of Shinnston, Ruth West of South Carolina and Terry Richards and his wife Janice of Florida; step-father, Jeffery Davisson of Clarksburg; cousins, Scott Strait, Shae Strait, Meagan Ward and her husband Matt, James Richards and his wife Amber, Kristen Smith and her husband Daniel; as well as his sister-in-law, Hillary Wiseman; brother-in-law, Jamie Harrison; and three nieces and one nephew. He is also survived by his good friend, Todd Riley of Shinnston.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mary Lou and Leon Silski, and John and Regina Richards; his uncle, John Raymond Richards; and mother-in-law, Rachel Harrison.
Chris was a graduate of Lincoln High School class of 2002 where he played football and was a member of the FFA. Chris was also a graduate of the WV Junior College. Chris worked for Custom Network Technologies, Inc. in Bridgeport. He also worked for several years at the Fox’s Pizza in Shinnston. He loved working on computers and was an avid gamer. He enjoyed fishing and bow hunting.
Friends will be received at the Harmer Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2-9 PM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 14, 2013, at 11 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Paul Boyles officiating. Interment will follow at the Shinnston Masonic Cemetery. Online Condolences may be submitted to www.harmerfuneralhome.com.
